David Grimes and Brandon Taylor have been trusted contractors in our community for decades. With hundreds of completed jobs across all aspects of commercial and residential contracting, the two friends founded CodeShield Roofing & Construction in 2026.

David has worked in Evansville roofing and construction since 2017, starting in the field before moving into customer care and project coordination. He specializes in insurance claims and walks homeowners through the process from the first inspection to the final payout.

Brandon started on a crew at 17 and brings three decades of hands-on roofing and construction experience, most of it in the Tri-State. He works on-site with his team to make sure every job is done right. Off the clock, he’s a father of five with kids at Bosse.

CodeShield is an independent, locally-owned and operated business. David, Brandon, and their trusted crew bring experience and expertise to every project, big or small.
